REMOVE this from the game its annoying and dumb. So you have to go back and GUEES WHAT? SAME SITUATION. This happens A LOT and the only course of action is to take cover and try to find a way to run past this but even that doesnt help as most of the time those enemies will chase you down and a new area will spawn even MORE enemies infront of you blocking you in.Īnd if that doesnt happen then Scumbag Lotus will tell you "this has gotten interesting" proceed back to the infinite spawning room for this new mission i was completly unaware of with my super high tech powers of knowing when stuff happens 5 seconds after they happen. Its not even the fact that they keep respawning but that they sapwn IMMEDIATLY after an enemy dies so you can kill 1 and another one spawns 0.001 seconds later taking the 1st one place like nothing happend.Īnbd this crap happens non stop until you die. Its freaking impossible to beat a level solo if this happens to be a level with one of these areas where the nemies just keep piling up from thin air. I think it’s just something you have to learn to play around and eventually accept as a part of the game despite it’s flaws.Ive had it up to here! (picture me holding my hand real high) with these damn infnite enemy spawning rooms and corner. It’s definitely a flawed feature but I don’t think it’s problem as a result of the mechanic itself but rather the pub environment and other mechanics/map layouts. Though it’s definitely super stupid to get frontspawned by QPs with only one or two players left since it almost always spells death and can’t always be avoided. When you come to a choke point in a kite with lots of zeds left to spawn, the whole team needs to focus on pushing through it ASAP with highest priority which some people just don’t understand or the team isn’t prepared to do because they didn’t prepare for the choke beforehand. I personally don’t think it’s a huge problem with the game because it’s something that can be played around with team communication and some other misc strats(not killing zeds until you round a choke point, for example) but front spawning is exacerbated as an issue in pubs because communication just isn’t really a thing in 90% of pub games. Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s something to ever change. So that it's actually unpredictable and would force some on-the-spot thinking rather than being constantly blocked every other step.Īnd I'm sure it's less of an issue with a higher skill team/communication, but I'm talking about random pubs here. I think maybe simply toning down the amount that it happens can be a good solution. So, what do you think should be done with it? Are Tripwire even interested in changing this/have they commented on this? Am I talking to myself? I don't think it's the biggest problem facing the game, but I certainly remember having more fun before this got added. I know it's supposed to add a bit of difficulty and a sense that there's nowhere to run, but it's just frustrating more than anything. It led to me rage quitting (well, not quite *rage*) for the first time in 700 hours of play because it just pissed me off getting ganked over and over. It makes any prediction or strategy null since you know that whatever you do, you'll just get swarmed by trash (and sometimes higher hp zeds you can't immediately kill to get away) from every direction all the time. I know this has been addressed before and that it's a feature rather than a bug, but it's a dumbass feature.
